Alem Sapp
Originally from New York Alem Brhan Sapp has enjoyed an array of experiences on stage and film. Some of the most memorable and recent occurred with Utah Shakespeare Festival’s Macbeth. Alem played the title role while touring most of the .Midwest in theatres and schools as far as Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Arizona. Live audiences in Los Angeles and Southern California last got a look at this versatile artist in repertory as Othello and Master Ford in Shakespeare By The Sea’s Othello and Merry Wives of Windsor. You can catch him in an assortment of upcoming independent films due out this year, such as, Strange Girls, Doing The L.A. Thing, and The Good Neighbor Policy. Alem is also in the process writing and developing his one man show, You Play Too Much and his feature film Afro-Indigenous. He is most proud to share the stage, writing, and creative process with his fellow artists in Slow Children Crossing.
